Braves send:
1B/OF Joey Meneses pc-25
My OF has gone cold with the sticks past 2 weeks and also exposed that could use some depth in the OF to cover some of these cold spells. My depth in the OF is still in the minors, so need to acquire someone who is starting for their team now.
Braves had some surplus in the OF and needed a starter so sending Paxton who is off to a pretty good start. It's always been a question about health with Big Maple but when healthy he is a very effective starter and if he stays healthy he is at a cheap 500k in 2024 for the Braves as well

I don’t love Paxton, but I’m really short on SP. Conversely, I’m deep in OF and UT bats and don’t get a chance to use Meneses often. So this fit made sense, even if I don’t trust Paxton
