Red Sox send:
P Kyle Wright 500k 2023 (all paid by BOS); 7.2m 2024-2026
P Brad Keller 4.4m; 4.4m
Yankees send:
2B Gleyber Torres 6.8m 2023 (all paid by NYY); 8.2m 2024 (1m paid by NYY)
P Anthony Bass 4.2m; 3.2m; 2.6m
With Wright going on the 60 day IL and rehab after that there is not much of a window for Wright to contribute to this season for my cause so when the Yanks put Torres on the block I figured I can swap him for a bat since I just acquired Webb and Cobb from trades to substitute for the contribution Wright was suppose to have.
Keller/Bass is a bad performance/bad contract swap. I need a reliever with 2 of my RP going on the IL past few weeks. Yanks were okay swapping the reliever for a starting arm.
Thanks again to the Yankees for the smooth talks. We did a lot of back and forth on this one, but found something that works for both of us.

Hoping Kyle Wright can come back strong the next few years and maybe Brad Keller finds some magic and if not no harm done. Okay with giving up a bat that I decided was not in my future and Anthony Bass not helpful at this point for me. Thanks for the easy deal that hopefully benefits us both with how we draw it up in our heads to work!
