2022-23 LOR2 Playoffs - Laimbeer40 - 03-06-2023

EASTERN CONFERENCE

#8 Atlanta at #1 Milwaukee, 6-3 (Bucks going to be tough. They beat a feisty Hawks team easily. If KD comes back, then it's over for everyone else)
#7 Detroit at #2 Indiana, 5-4 (Chef Curry with 20 3PM this week to seal the tightest category for Pacers)
#6 Cleveland at #3 Toronto, 5-4 (Cavs pull off the upset partially due to TJ McConnell's 5 steals helping win that category by 2. Depth matters)
#5 Boston at #4 New York, 5-4 (Knicks got 5 more games played from their lineup. I would have bet the farm this one would end 5-4)

WESTERN CONFERENCE

#8 Oklahoma City at #1 Portland, 5-4 (Blazers survived this one despite a myriad of injuries. OKC will be back)
#7 LA Lakers at #2 Phoenix, 5-4 (The big upset of Round 1. Luka really let the Suns down. Meanwhile Jimmy Butler carried the Lakers)
#6 LA Clippers at #3 Golden State, 5-4 (Warriors managed to get by without Giannis. Mainly b/c Clippers forgot to set their lineup on Friday)
#5 Denver at #4 Memphis, 6.5-2.5 (Nuggets really had no shot with LBJ on the shelf. Grizzlies are well rounded. They just lack depth)

2ND ROUND

#4 New York at #1 Milwaukee, 8-1 (As long as they stay healthy they are going to be hard to beat. And this is even without KD)
#6 Cleveland at #2 Indiana, 6-3 (Won by 1 STL and 1 BLK. Cavs gave it a hell of a run. And next year they get Chet. Look out!)

#4 Memphis at #1 Portland, 6-3 (Grizz won convincingly. I don't think even 3 games from Ja would have helped the Blazers)
#7 LA Lakers at #3 Golden State, 7-2 (Giannis did what GSW pays him for. And FVV with a showing that says PAY ME IN UFA!!!)

CONFERENCE FINALS

#2 Indiana at #1 Milwaukee, 5-4 (Big weeks by Steph and Bane plus MIL missing KD leads to the upset)

#4 Memphis at #3 Golden State, 6-3 (Surprising contribution by Agbaji and being a little deeper than GSW get Griz to promised land)

FINALS

#4 Memphis at #2 Indiana, 6-3 (Argenzio wins coach of the year and this is no fluke. MEM was legit last year too even with a short bench. Pacers with another fine season)

Finals MVP: Kyrie Irving MEM

RE: 2022-23 LOR2 Playoffs - KG3 - 03-06-2023

Am I missing something? Why is OKC the 6th seed with the 8th best record in the west?

A lot of close games in Round 1

RE: 2022-23 LOR2 Playoffs - kylerap - 03-13-2023

Fantrax looks like it's missing Cleveland from our matchup

RE: 2022-23 LOR2 Playoffs - Slou - 03-13-2023

So many injuries across the league (Giannis and Turner for me). The west is wide open and looks like Bucks will cruise to another title
