Vierling never unpacked as he was destined to OAK for a spec i really like and he�fits my teams design. (BAL homer move though admittedly). Dealing Brown was a controversial move but I like Schmidt (Eno sarris, james anderson, nick pollack do as well) and believe he is ready to rely on his new slider and be a solid mlb pitcher.� With Montas out i felt he could beat out German to be in Yankee Rotation sooner then Brown would have a spot in Houston.� Brown is the better pitcher, imo, however i didnt think i was stepping to far back in getting schmidt and now Westburg.� I like Vierling and his CF position eligibilty along with�power/speed would have worked well as our 4th OF but filling a hole in OAK gives us a chance to get a young player soon to be in mlb.
