Cubs - Toronto Trade - oldmancoffee66 - 08-19-2022 Cubs Recieve Toronto's 1st round FYPD pick Toronto recieves... Alec Burleson Kyle Manzardo 1st (SD) Toronto approached me about Manzardo and other prospects.  Felt the urge to consolidate some prospects and picks. Burleson has ascended into the Top 100.  Manzardo, was a 2nd round pick, and based on other TB prospects on MLB top 100 list.... is likely close. Both have been just slaying the minors.  The 1st(SD) pick was to sweeten the deal and give Toronto a fair return for what might be the 1st overall pick. Cubs feel set at 1B with Andrew Vaughn, Aguilar, and some lesser options. We have Manzardo in other leagues and felt it wise to diversify a bit. Gives Cubs a bit of roster space going into the off season.
