CWS/TOR deal - ForrestGreene - 08-19-2022 Sox deal Vinnie Pasquantino Kyle Harrison Gavin Williams TJ Sikkema Jays deal Joe Musgrove 1.5 4.4 Max scherzer 10.8 paid J Iglesias 2.2 2.2 Sox to confirm. Jays deal 2 solid pitchers and bench depth for some young players jays like long term. Jays have had a lot of interest in both sp. most offers had one guy we liked “ok” and a whole bunch young guys in high or low A to make up the with volume. I went with the deal for players that help more on my timeline. Vinnie had solid minor league numbers and is playing well in the majors, almost as many bb:ks. Harrison/Williams are both close and highly ranked. Sikkema is a little further but being in OAK system, I believe, he should move quickly. I’m not sold on musgrove but scherzer is an ace but at 38 and needing resigned I prefer the position of the 3 younger sp. Pasquantino was in CWS lineup. Not many gms here would take a bat out their lineup this time of year. Thanks CWS RE: CWS/TOR deal - JuicyJ - 08-20-2022 CWS confirm. Love vinnie p a lot, Harrison and Williams are very high upside arms that will debut next year at this pace. Lose a lot of young pieces but I get more win now pieces that fit my push this year and next. Thanks to Toronto for the trade talks.
