Contract idea:

Could have the option of adding 1 season to vet deals. Something like current contract + $Xm, or current +X%, or could do a year at average of extension cost and current deal.

Maybe do similar for prospects and ignore that year for the extensions, so for next season p-2021 becomes 600k, 4m (just an example) and if you extend it starts after the 4m season.

I'm in favor of playing out the fantasy season as if the majors played a full 162 game season. If they majors play out their season, then contracts progress as normal. I don't believe any prize money should be deferred.

MLB played a shortened season in 1995 with Atlanta winning the world series, and they are not looked upon as any lesser of a champion as other world series winners. Whoever wins the world series this year will not have an asterisk next to their team name. While there are less games, everyone is still playing under the same rules.

Changing rules and how things are normally done will just lead to confusion. We should just do the same divisions with the same playoff format with the same payouts. 6 week regular season and 3 week playoff.

If the majors do not complete their season due to covid or some other reason, then I think contracts should get a mulligan of one year and other decisions would need to be made.
